CLINICGUARD™ ---
THE PROGRAM FOR HEMOPHILIA TREATMENT CENTERS (HTC)
ClinicGuard™
is an alliance between AHF® and an HTC that offers patients an outstanding disease management program
ClinicGuard
was created,
as a business alliance between a non-profit medical institution like an
Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) and AHF, for the purpose of serving the disease management
needs of HTC families with bleeding disorders. For HTCs that meet PHS pricing criteria, a
ClinicGuard contract
can bring tremendous benefit to the patient and the center.
Since 1995, AHF has
been organized to act as a
prime sub- contractor for hemophilia treatment centers. With ClinicGuard contracts,
AHF has assisted these Centers in becoming economically independent clinics, while
diminishing their dependency upon outside funding. In this way they offer
their patients the most
competitive retail prices and the most reliable home service in the country.
With PHS pricing, HTCs are able to generate revenues by becoming
the supplier of factor products to their patients..
A ClinicGuard contract provides
the necessary expertise and experience to assist an HTC in its efforts to take full advantage of this
pricing benefit, to maintain the highest quality of care, and to pass substantially
reduced pricing on to its patients. Your
center would have full use of our ordering center, pharmacy, warehouse, shipping
center, client services department, and billing and reimbursement
departments.
We have established working relationships with dozens of private carriers, state-based
Medicaid programs, Medicare, HMOs, PPOs, and managed care programs. Make ClinicGuard
work for your center and your patients. Call us at 800-243-4621 or E-mail us.
