AHF FAMILY EDUCATION PROGRAM

AHF provides clotting medications, ancillaries, and supplies to medical institutions and to individuals and families who treat bleeding disorders at home.  Bleeding disorders are our only business and we have provided uninterrupted state-of-the-art services since 1989.

AHF Quarterly Update Series

Winter - Preventing the Complications of Hemophilia

Spring - Blood Transmissible Diseases

Summer - Blood Products, Blood Safety, and a Cure

Fall – Women with Bleeding Disorders

Educational materials on these four general topics are mailed at no cost, to each AHF client family. Every year we select, copy, and mail a variety of current materials focusing on the above topics of interest to bleeding disorders families. We assemble and update materials on each topic throughout the year. Selections on each topic are sent to client families once per year. This is one of our many educational services for families.
